TPU material RoHS testing 2024
KMLPPF TPU material certified by RoHS Full test
In December 2024, KMLPPF ‘s self-developed thermoplastic polyurethane (TPU) material successfully passed the international authoritative RoHS (Restriction of Hazardous Substances) test and certification. And fully comply with IEC 62321-3-1:2013, IEC 62321-4:2013 +AMD1:2017, IEC 62321-5:2013, IEC 62321-6:2015, IEC 62321-7-1:2015, IEC 62321-7-2:2017 IEC 62321-8:2017 series of strict standards. This milestone not only highlights KMLPPF’s leading position in the field of eco-friendly materials, but also validates the dual breakthrough of TPU material in terms of safety and sustainability, providing high-performance and zero-risk green solutions for industries such as electronics, automobiles, and healthcare.

oudaoplaceholder0 RoHS full test: Setting New heights for environmental protection
The RoHS certification aims for “zero hazardous substances” and strictly limits the content of ten types of high-risk chemicals such as lead (Pb), cadmium (Cd), mercury (Hg), hexavalent chromium (Cr VI), and phthalates (DEHP). The KMLPPF TPU material was tested through depth inspection covering 7 IEC 62321 standards to achieve:
Youdaoplaceholder0 Hazardous substances “undetected” : The content of key restricted substances is well below the EU and global limits (e.g. Lead and cadmium content ≤0.001%);
Youdaoplaceholder0 Full life cycle control : From raw material synthesis, processing to finished product, use pollution-free technology throughout to ensure traceable environmental quality.
Youdaoplaceholder0 Low-carbon circular design : TPU can be 100% recycled and regenerated after being discarded, compatible with the circular economy model and reducing environmental burden.
Youdaoplaceholder0 Performance and environmental protection at the same time: Innovative advantages of TPU material
As an environmentally friendly material with flexibility, wear resistance and weather resistance, KMLPPF TPU, while passing the RoHS certification, empowers multiple fields with technological breakthroughs:
Youdaoplaceholder0 Safe and reliable : Certified to IEC 62321-7-1/-7-2, no risk of phthalate and organotin release, meeting maternal, infant and medical-grade safety requirements.
Youdaoplaceholder0 Extreme resistance : Maintains stable performance in -50 ° C to 120 ° C, with tear strength increased by XX%, suitable for automotive cables, smart wearables and other scenarios;
Youdaoplaceholder0 Lightweighting and energy saving : Reduce density by XX% to help reduce weight and improve energy efficiency in new energy vehicles;
Youdaoplaceholder0 Low VOC emission : The entire production process is solvent-free, reducing volatile organic compound emissions by XX%, ensuring user health.
Youdaoplaceholder0 Industry Empowerment: Driving green Supply chain upgrade
The RoHS certification of KMLPPF TPU material provides three values for global partners:
Youdaoplaceholder0 Compliance Pass : Complies with EU REACH, China RoHS and other regulations, facilitating seamless entry of products into the international market;
Youdaoplaceholder0 Brand competitiveness : Backed by authoritative tests to strengthen consumers’ trust in the “safe and environmentally friendly” label;
Youdaoplaceholder0 Carbon Neutrality practices : Replacing traditional non-environmentally friendly materials such as PVC and rubber to help electronics, automotive and other industries reduce their carbon footprint and achieve ESG goals.
Youdaoplaceholder0 Blueprint for the Future: Technology safeguards sustainability
KMLPPF will continue to focus on the innovation of environmentally friendly materials and promote the technological iteration and industry application of TPU.
